VJ Fest Istanbul is an independent live visual art festival to share knowledge and demonstrate VJ-ing as a social act. It is primarily a gathering for live video artists (VJs) and audiovisual artists from different parts of the world. All activities are free and open.

The video-music festival is a platform for old and new technological ways of live visual performance upon music and sound, and a promoter of collaborations and contacts for VJs on an international level. Artists share their knowledge about their art and techniques, give talks and run workshops, and make live audio-visual performances and VJ-DJ acts at clubs, theatres and open spaces.
